Tomorrow is my 23rd birthday! I've been feeling nostalgic about this year since it was exactly a decade ago that I was Bat-Mitzvahed (#jewstatus). To commemorate this special day I'd like to share a diary entry from my birthday 10 years ago. It's a doozy!

Movies That Weren't That Bad
The following movies were rated ridiculously low by critics. However, they were all movies I wanted to see so I went ahead and watched them anyway. Were they the best movies ever? No. But they weren't that bad...

How To Hide People From Facebook Chat
You and your boyfriend must have spent hours chatting on Facebook chat. And Facebook chat is SO smart that they always post people you talk to most right at the top. How convenient. Until you break up. Then you get to stare at his face (whether he's on or not) and be miserable. And obsessive. Thankfully, you don't have to put yourself through this.

6 Ways You Better Not Propose to Me
I am nowhere near ready for a proposal. At all. But while most girls dream about the perfect wedding, I have thought long and hard about the perfect proposal. Throughout this process I have thought about 6 ways I definitely do NOT want to be proposed to. Like, if someone did one of these, I might say no even if they were my soulmate.

Epic Movie Quotes: Little Shop of Horrors
Rick Moranis. Steve Martin. Heaven. Little Shop of Horrors is hilarious and loveable and of course... quoteable. Next time you feel like being cranky and dramatic try this quote on for size:

Will You Be My Girlfriend?
Let's be real. Nobody says this anymore. If your relationship began because a guy said to you "will you be my girlfriend" then you either have the most awkward relationship ever or you are in middle school. Nowadays you somehow just end up in a relationship and sometimes you're not quite sure how you got there. Or maybe you're trying to be in a relationship but you have no idea how to go about it without sounding ridiculously cheesy. Here's how I've seen relationships just pop out of thin air:

4 Things I Don't Miss About Summer
I think it is safe to say summer is officially over. Sorry for all of you still in denial but it's October people. It's fall. Although I love a good summer as much as the next guy, there are just some things about summer I can live without.

TV Review: Arrow
I loved Smallville on the CW and was sad that it came to end. When I heard that the CW was tackling another DC Comic book hero, I was skeptical. After much consideration I decided to give Arrow a chance and I was not disappointed.

What To Do (And Not Do) When Running A Facebook Promotion
This was originally posted on Likeable Media's blog.
There are many strategic reasons for your brand to run promotions on Facebook. You can generate leads and drive sales by collecting customer information and promoting new products. You can engage with customers and delight them by giving away great prizes. You can grow your fan base and increase page visibility online. You can also use promotions to gain user data and insight. I can go on and on for why you should run a promotion but the real question is how do you make it successful. Here's a list of what to do and what not to do when running a Facebook promotion.

The Day I Learned To Ride A Bike
Picture it. You eye that fresh new bike. There's no training wheels on it so it makes you nervous... but you're also pretty excited. Today is the day you enter society and get to participate in the saying "It's just like riding a bike." You look to your supporters. They smile at you from the sidelines giving you that "you can do it!" glare. And then you get on the bike...

Epic Movie Quotes: Jerry Maguire
I could have gone one of two ways here. There is the ever popular "SHOW ME THE MONEY" quote that we all love so much, but then there is a more romantic side to me. Let's give the floor to Renee Zellweger here:

An Ode To Tom Hanks
Disclaimer: Things are about to get weird.
I love this man. He has brought so much joy to my life. He is consistently good in everything. He can do comedy, drama, animation, parody, etc. My love for Tom extends irrationally. For example, I love everything Colin Hanks is in (even though he's not a very good actor) just because he is Tom's son. I saw Larry Crowne even though it was painfully obvious that it wasn't going to be a good movie. I read The Da Vinci Code because he stars in it! The man is planning on playing Walt Disney! Only a true genius loved by all can pull that off.
